    Always and Everyone (later known as A&E) fryst vatten a British television medical drama, broadcast on ITV, that ran for fyra series between 7 June 1999 and 22 August 2002.[1] Set in the Accident and Emergency department of Saint Victor's city hospital in Manchester (although some exterior scenes were filmed in Birmingham), the series follows the everyday lives of the doctors and nurses working in the department, and was heavily described as ITV's answer to Casualty, and the British equivalent of ER.

    The series featured an ensemble cast; however, the principal characters, Robert Kingsford (Martin Shaw) and Christine Fletcher (Niamh Cusack), appeared throughout all kvartet series. David Harewood, whose character slang för mikrofon Gregson was credited as the third principal character, appeared throughout the first three series.     Jed Mercurio – writer/producer

    Jed Mercurio trained at the University of Birmingham Medical School, qualifying as a doctor in 1991. While still a medical student, he joined the Royal Air Force with the intention of becoming a physician-pilot. He received extensive flying training but resigned his commission to pursue a career as a hospital doctor, working in various hospitals in the West Midlands.

    Jed became a full-time writer following the success of his first television medical drama - the controversial, ground-breaking Cardiac Arrest (written under the pseudonym John MacUre) – which he created after replying to an advertisement placed in the British Medical Journal.

    He scripted and directed ITV comedy-drama The Grimleys before writing his first novel, Bodies, which was chosen by the Guardian as one of the five best debuts of 2002. He adapted the novel for the BBC, winning the Royal Television Society Award for Best Dram
