    Christopher Daniel Lilley (born 10 November 1974) is an Australiancomedian, television producer, actor, musician and writer. He is known for his creation and portrayal of several characters in the mockumentarytelevision seriesWe Can Be Heroes: Finding The Australian of the Year (2005), Summer Heights High (2007), Angry Boys (2011), Ja'mie: Private School Girl (2013), Jonah from Tonga (2014) and Lunatics (2019). He has also won the Logie Award for Most Popular Actor twice.

    Lilley was born in Sydney, New South Wales, and grew up in Turramurra. He lives in Melbourne, Victoria.

    Lilley made his debut in the Big Bite in 2003. He played a role of sports enthusiast Extreme Darren and the high-school drama teacher Mr G.[1]

    He is a vegetarian.[2]

    Chris Lilley, satirist and actor, was educated at Pymble Public School and Barker College before gaining his degree from Macquarie University. Beginning his career as a stand-up comedian, in 2003 he made his television debut in Big Bite, in which he introduced the character Mr G, a high-school drama teacher. Big Bite was the first comedy from a commercial network to be nominated for an Australian Film Institute Award. Lilley's first solo creation was We Can Be Heroes: Finding the Australian of the Year, a six-part ABC series in which he played numerous characters, male and female, Anglo-Australian and Asian-Australian. Lilley won the awards for Best New Talent and Most Outstanding Comedy Program at the Logies of 2006 and a Swiss award, the Rose D'Or, for Best Male Comedy Performance.
