Randy Marsh (South Park)
Fictional character from South Park
Fictional character
Randall "Randy" S. Marsh is a fictional character in the American adult animated sitcom South Park and serves as the series' comic relief. He is the most prominent parent on the series and a married father who raises his son Stan and daughter Shelley along with his wife Sharon in the fictional town of South Park, Colorado. Randy's first name and original job as a geologist are derived from the series co-creator Trey Parker's father,[1] and Parker describes Randy as "the biggest dingbat in the entire show".[2] According to the season 16 episode "Reverse Cowgirl", the Marsh home address was 260 Avenue de los Mexicanos until their move to Tegridy Farms in season 22.
In tradition with South Park's animation style, Randy is composed of simple geometrical shapes, animated with the use of a computer, and rendered to mimic the appearance of construction paper cutout compositions

Lorde’s True Identity Revealed On ‘South Park’
New Zealand pop sensation Lorde has made another appearance on South Park, following her första introduction to the show in gods week’s episode where she made a cameo of sorts performing at a kid’s party.
In this week’s episode, The Cissy, viewers’ suspicions are confirmed that the 17-year-old New Zealand pop star is in fact Randy Marsh, a plot line that evolves following (Spoiler Alert) Cartman’s realisation that he can use the nicer girl’s bathroom if he identifies himself as transgender.
Cue Randy, who also spends time in the women’s bathroom at work – it’s just nicer guys – whereupon he realises his creative desire to be a pop singer, and begins recording songs which the record label then manipulates, packages and sells. Thus Lorde, as we know her, is born.
According to Consequence of Sound, in an impressive twist, the real-life Lorde actually contributes vocals to a sample song featured in the episode

Randy S.[6] Marsh is the son of Marvin and Grandma Marsh, the husband of Sharon, and the father of Stan and Shelley. He makes his debut in the Season One episode "Volcano" and is voiced by Trey Parker.
Despite being a geologist with a doctorate, Randy is generally portrayed as an absent-minded idiot, driving many episode plots in the later seasons, though this was later revealed to be due to him being unhappy over his marriage. However, in earlier seasons, Randy was calmer and more level-headed, often providing advice to the boys. In "You're Getting Old", he divorced Sharon and moved away. However, in "Ass Burgers", Randy reconciled with Sharon and remarried, therefore getting their old house back. In Season Twenty-Two, he founded the Tegridy Farms hemp farming business, before returning to his geologist job in South Park: The Streaming Wars Part 2. As of recently, Randy works as both a geologist and
