‘CSI: Miami’ alum David Caruso looks wildly different in new photos since 2017
Retired actor David Caruso has resurfaced after stepping away from the Hollywood spotlight following his hit show “CSI: Miami.”
The 67-year-old was photographed out and about in a rare appearance on Nov. 15.
During the rare spotting, the “NYPD Blue” alum sported a denim jacket, a black tee and gray sweatpants as he pumped gas and took a walk in San Fernando Valley, California.
The former actor’s hair was also grown out and parted down the middle.
The “Proof of Life” star appeared in good spirits and was seen with an unknown female companion.
The New York native began his career with an uncredited role in “Ryan’s Hope” in 1976, and went on to appear in dozens of projects, primarily in television.
In 1994, he won a Golden Globe for his work as Detective John Kelly on “NYPD Blue.”

Former “CSI: Miami” star David Caruso looked unrecognizable in his first sighting in more than six years.
The retired actor — who hasn’t appeared on TV since 2012 — was photographed outside his San Fernando Valley, Calif., home last month with an unknown female companion before running errands.
Caruso kept it casual for the outing, wearing a blue hoodie over a green T-shirt and a pair of khaki pants.
His signature red tresses — which used to be short and neat for his TV roles — were longer and he was rocking a pair of blue round glasses.
The “NYPD Blue” alum, 67, later changed his attire before heading out to meet friends.
While at the gas station, he was photographed wearing a black shirt under an open jean jacket, khaki pants and a pair of black shoes.

The retired actor, 68, who played the iconic Horatio Caine in the show from 2002-2012, sported flowing red locks and swapped his famed shades for spectacles as he worked at his art gallery.
The Golden Globe winner cut a notably slimmer figure in a black top and jacket paired with green slacks as he made a low-key outing while with a female companion.
Caruso has only been spotted twice in the past eight years, in December 2023 he was seen near near his home in LA's San Fernando Valley.
Caruso decided he had had enough of fame once his CSI spinoff was cancelled in 2012.
He had appeared on all 232 episodes of CSI: Miami and was known for biting one-line quips, as well as his sharp dressing and – of course – a talent for crime-busting.
