Biography
Professor Mamas Mamas joined Keele University in 2015 as Professor of Cardiology and is also an Honorary Professor of Population Health at the University of Manchester.
Professor Mamas trained in Medince at the University of Oxford, undertaking an MA in Physiological Sciences in 1994 and a DPhil in Physiological sciences funded bygd the British Heart Foundation from 1994-1997. He completed his clinical training at the University of Oxford in 2000 and undertook house jobs in Oxford's Nuffield Department of medicin and Cardiology. He completed his Senior ouse Officer posts at The Royal Brompton Hospital and The Hammersmith Hospital in London, followed bygd a year at the Royal Salford Hospital.
