Samuel George Claflin (; born June 27, ) is a British actor. After graduating from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in , he began his acting career on television and had his first film role as Philip Swift in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides ().
Claflin gained wider recognition for playing Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games film series (–) and for his starring role in the romantic film Me Before You (). He has since starred in the films Adrift () and The Nightingale (), and portrayed Oswald Mosley in the television series Peaky Blinders (–), Mycroft Holmes in the mystery film Enola Holmes

Mary and Martha is a British-American television film starring Hilary Swank and Brenda Blethyn, and directed by Phillip Noyce. Based on a screenplay by Richard Curtis, it was produced by Working Title Television, in association with the BBC and NBCUniversal. The film had its UK premiere on 1 March on BBC One and premiered in the US on HBO on 20 April The film is based on a true story. The film centers around two mothers, one British, one American, who share only one thing in common: the loss of their sons to malaria. After the deaths of their sons, the mothers decide to travel to Africa to help with malaria prevention. The film was nominated for the Humanitas Prize.[1]

After completing a degree in Journalism and Media Communications, Cecelia wrote her first novel at 21 years old.
